For this assignment, the goal was to choose two typefaces and create a composition with both of them. We were given ten different typefaces to choose from: five of the typefaces were sans serif while the other five were serif. I chose both the Baskerville and Helvetica typeface because I found that they both complimented each other really well.

Baskerville is a serif typeface with a stroke that changes from thick-to-thin. It is a condensed font that is easy to read within a header or in a body of text.

Helvetica is a sans serif typeface with a thick, bold stroke. This typeface is more spread out, bold enough to stand out as a header.

Using these two typefaces, I created a composition that would best reflect me. I manipulated the "O" in my last name and shaped it into the North Star. This star has been a key inspiration for a majority of my creations whether that be in writing or drawing and I thought it would be a symbol that would best describe me. I then took the "Q" in my last name and gave it the Baskerville typeface so that way both the "O" and the "Q" would stand out as they are both capitalized in my last name.

I then brought this newly made composition into Adobe Photoshop where I proceeded to make an animation out of it by having the points of the star move in and out.
